This two-year program prepares students to manage a farm/ranch or agribusiness.  Agriculture is a business savvy industry with many opportunities for candidates skilled at streamlining processes and creating value added solutions for promoting agriculture goods. In today's market, farmers, ranchers and agribusiness managers must stay abreast of the latest developments in technology and agriculture production to make sound scientific and business decisions. Price fluctuations, increased demand for food and biofuel are just a few of the challenges that the future generation of agriculture managers will face.

The curriculum is designed to prepare students to be successful managers and includes prescribed coursework in accounting, agriculture finance, marketing, precision farming, crop/soil science and livestock production. The program requires participation in a cooperative education internship. Advisors will work with students to determine an appropriate internship project for the farm/ranch management option and to gain employment at an agribusiness for the agribusiness management option.
