Fundamentals of Public Speaking (COMM 110) 3 credits

Math elective (MATH 103 or higher) 4-3 credits
*General Biology I&II (BIOL 150-151) 6 credits
*General Biology Lab (BIOL 150L-151L) 2 credits

(MATH 210 recommended) 3-4 credits

Arts and Humanities
**Foreign Language 101-102 (Spanish) 8 credits
**Foreign Language 201-202 (Spanish) 8 credits

Social and Behavioral Sciences
Intro. to Psychology (PSYC 111) 3 credits
Intro. to Sociology (SOC 110) 3 credits
Psychology electives 9 credits
Introduction to Behavior Modification (PSYC  211) 3 credits
Child Psychology (PSYC 252) 3 credits
Abnormal Psychology (PSYC 270) 3 credits
Social Psychology (PSYC 276) 3 credits
Educational Psychology (PSYC 230) 3 credits
Note: PSYC 250 Developmental Psychology is recommended for non-psychology majors

*  Biology 150 & 151 with labs would be most appropriate for the Associate in Science psychology emphasis.  Substitutions: Eight credits of any Science with a lab can be taken to fulfill the Associate in Science.
** 2nd year proficiency in a foreign language is required in some 4-year psychology programs. Substitutions: Six other arts and humanities credits. Add 10 additional elective credits to reach 60 total credits for the Associate in Science degree.  Additional electives may come from any of BSC's areas of study.
