                                MYSTIC FOOTBALL

The fall of 1962 saw the end of an era at BJC.  Because many of the students held part-time jobs and because the team had to travel long distances to play teams of their own caliber, participation encountered many handicaps.  Taking these difficulties into consideration, the administration decided it would be in the best interests of the school to drop football.
