Getting Down To It: The Basics of Speaking and Making Presentations

Your knees are knockin' and your mouth is dry and you have to talk to 20 people about your business. How do you start? How do you stay focused and how do you do it? This practical, hands on session will help you get started on what you want to say, how to say it, and help you to move through your nervousness and on to success!
spacerPaula Redmann has been in the community relations and marketing field for over 25 years. She has been the Marketing and Development Manager for Bismarck Parks and Recreation District since 2004, a perfect fit for her passion for community and family. Paula is originally from Jamestown and received her advertising and public relations degree from the University of North Dakota. She says 'yes' to way too many organizations, and has served in a volunteer and leader in numerous community groups like the United Way, Leadership Bismarck-Mandan, St. Alexius Community Advisory Board, Heartland Child Nutrition, Business and Professional Women, church council, Century High School C-Club and Toastmasters. Paula is married to her high school sweetheart, Tom. (Sigh!) They have two active teenage sons, Alex and Max, who think their parents are from Mars. She loves to run on the trails and play in the yard.
