This presentation emphasizes that the most marketable commodity in business is our self, and we should market our self as we would any product or service. That includes identifying a passionate personal and professional vision or mission, and developing skills to achieve our goals. Some of the skills discussed include time management, public presentation skills, networking, business etiquette, learning to say no, and self-empowerment.

Full-time, Denise is the Assistant Vice President of Corporate Communications for Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota based in Fargo. She previously served as Donor Recruitment Director for United Blood Services, executive director of the North Dakota Newspaper Association and North Dakota Water Coalition, and public relations manager for an advertising agency. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks.
