BSC's Continuing Education, Training & Innovation (CETI) offers CNA Training (Certified Nursing Assistant) to students looking at working in a skilled nursing home facility, acute care or home health care. Students also take this training to fulfill the prerequisite requirements for nursing school.

Length of Program:
The program is 80 hours: 41 hours is dedicated to classroom instruction; 19 hours to classroom supervised practical training, 16 hours for clinical practice and 4 hours of review and testing.
Cost:
Non-credit Student: The cost of the class, starting January 1st, for non-credit is $400 (includes book). Payment is made to BSC's Continuing Education, Training and Innovation office.
Credit Student: The cost of the class for credit is paid through the BSC's Business Office.
Attendance:
Class attendance is an essential part of the educational process of this training. Class attendance is mandatory. Students may be dropped if attendance requirements are not met. A $25 transfer fee is applied to any student who transfers to another class.
Cancellation Policy:
If a student cancels from a class prior to the start date, a $25 processing fee will be deducted from the amount refunded. Students must contact the BSC Continuing Education, Training & Innovation Office at least two working days prior to the start of class for a refund. If a student cancels after class has started, the entire registration fee is forfeited.

- This program is held evenings Mondays-Thursdays 6:00-10:00 pm and Saturdays 8:00 am-5:00 pm

- Times:
- This program is held mornings from Monday-Friday, 7:30-9:30 am for approximately 7 weeks. In addition to these hours, an 8-hour Saturday lab and two 4-hour labs are required. The day class is only available to BSC credit students.
CNA State Exam:
Students will be able to take the state CNA exam after completing the CNA class. Students will be notified of the testing date during their classroom instruction. The cost for the state exam is $120 for written exam; $130 for oral exam.
