FINDING INFORMATION

You may search the BSC Library catalog and other North Dakota library catalogs using ODIN.
The Databases (Articles & More), available to BSC Library patrons provide access to the following resources and many more:
- Magazine, Journal, and Newspaper Articles
- E-books
- Audiobooks
- Encyclopedias
- Maps
- Statistical Data
- Photos
- Music - Online
- Video - Online
- College Catalogs
- Career
- Information
- Skill-building courses and practice tests

|
Many of the articles in the indexes are available in full-text format which can then be printed or e-mailed. If using a computer off-campus, you will be required to login:
- Your BSC Library online access number is: Your entire 14 digit code beginning with 23103… This access number is on the back of your BSC Photo ID, or it was sent to you via e-mail.
- Your BSC Library password is: yourlastname (no spaces; not case sensitive)

|
For BSC students and employees, your BSC photo ID is your library card. Your library access number is the barcode number on the back of the card. If you are using a non-BSC computer, you must use this number to access the online databases and to view your ODIN account and place hold requests and interlibrary loan requests. If you are having trouble accessing the online databases, call the library at 1-800-445-5073, or locally at 701-224-5450, or send us an online question, and we'll explain the login procedure. If you are an online student in need of a library online access number, please visit our Online Services webpage and Order Your Access Number Online.
The ODIN system does NOT include materials from the Bismarck Public Library. If you would like to search the Bismarck Public Library online catalog, visit their Online Catalog.
