Innovation Training Opportunities
Do you have good ideas that will transform your department in the future? Would you like resources for transforming tomorrow today? BSC's Office of Innovation does that!
BSC's Office of Innovation focuses on transforming the college's culture to be innovative in all aspects of its operations. That translates into a culture of innovation across campus.
If you have not had the opportunity to attend one of the listed sessions we encourage you to do so. They are fun, interactive, and can provide you with tools to expand the way you think. Watch for upcoming dates for these sessions as well as additional sessions in the near future.
Innovation DNA
Introduce the basics of innovation to your department and begin to incorporate innovation into the classroom. Participants have stimulated discussions about organizational strengths and opportunities for improvement relative to innovation and how each person can affect those strengths and challenges.
Personal Innovation Competencies
Allow your departments and classrooms to become familiar with their individual competencies that are important to innovation. This interactive session is designed to create individual action-learning plans to enhance innovative competencies.
Accelerated Innovation
Using the well-known "KnowBrainer Tool," this facilitated session can be used to solidify your personal or organizational goals, a classroom idea, work through barriers, or determine "next steps." By using a proven four-stage accelerated innovative process, you are able to achieve goals, overcome challenges and solve problems in an accelerated, innovative method. This session can be facilitated one-on-one or with a group. You will soon see fast, innovative results positively impacting your classroom and life.
Innovation Orientation
This session will introduce you to the basics of innovation. By the end of the session you will be able to incorporate innovation into your department or classroom, home or other activities you are involved in.
True Colors
This interactive, entertaining and easy way to remember personality trait preferences will provide you with new tools to understand and appreciate yourselves and others more fully. Knowing each other's True-Colors can help build teamwork and communication skills within all your interactions.
