OPERATIONS COUNCIL
The Operations Council (OC) was created in January 2008 to "flatten" the operations of the organization and to empower employees who are closest to the students and other stakeholders to make decisions and solve problems. It was also created to help enhance communication throughout the organization.
The OC comprises 15 members from across campus and invites other campus employees and students to meetings as needed to address particular issues. Additionally, the OC will, when logical, coordinate cross-functional teams (including staff, faculty and students, as needed) to address new campus initiatives and provide solutions to existing campus-wide challenges.
Employees have access to the council and may request agenda items for future meetings either directly by contacting a council member or by contacting Donna.Fishbeck@bismarckstate.edu, (2011-2012 Operations Council Chair).
